Synopsis

You and Me tells the extraordinary true story of David “Barney” Miller, a promising pro surfer whose life changed forever after a horrific car accident left him a quadriplegic. Doctors predicted he’d never breathe unaided or move his limbs again, but through relentless grit, determination, and the support of his loved ones — including world surfing champion Mick Fanning — Barney defies all odds. Along the way he falls in love with Kate, sets heartfelt goals like kneeling to propose and standing at their wedding, gets back in the water surfing again, and dedicates himself to helping others with spinal injuries.
