Synopsis
South to Sian follows surfers Harrison Roach and Zye Norris as they load surfboards, two bikes, and a cheap tent into a 1970s Land Rover and embark on an epic trip beginning in the southern reaches of Bali. Their journey takes them through the Indonesian archipelago, covering thousands of kilometres by bike, board, boat, and four‑wheel drive, all the way to Lagundri Bay in Northern Sumatra, in a quest to discover whether the dream of a true pioneering surf adventure still exists in the age of GPS, Wi‑Fi, and modern travel conveniences.
