Synopsis

A team of weekend adventurers embarks on a daring mission to conquer British Columbia’s Mt Waddington, facing a cascade of obstacles from the get-go. Hindered by bad weather and inaccessible routes, they’re dropped at Scimitar Glacier, far from their intended base camp. Complicating matters, half the team opts for antique gear reminiscent of a historic expedition, only to find it woefully inadequate against nature’s onslaught. Hindered by a novice filmmaker and thwarted by treacherous terrain, their attempts to reach Mt Waddington falter. Forced to adapt, they pivot to a lesser peak, Mt Munday, culminating their journey in a poignant tribute to past pioneers.
