A Cry from the Top of the World

In August 2008, K2 became the scene of one of the deadliest disasters in mountaineering history, when 11 climbers lost their lives during a series of summit attempts. Swedish mountaineer Fredrik Sträng was on the mountain and captured the expedition on film. Through authentic footage and first-hand accounts from survivors, A Cry from the Top of the World takes us into the extreme conditions of K2 and the dramatic events that unfolded high above the Death Zone. Official Selection 2010: BANFF. Official Selection 2013: Lądek-Zdrój Mountain Festival.
