Synopsis

“Pegadas Salgadas” or “Salted Footprints” is an interesting documentary about the surf culture in the city of Florianopolis, Brazil. The film features 25 interviews of people that make a living out of surfing in the city – shapers, pro athletes, surf reporters, surf school teachers, surf shop owners, surf photographers, etc. It is evident that Brazil is a strong and promising force in the surfing world. The growing population of surfers in Brazil is astonishing, with Florianopolis as a leading destination for it’s surfers.
