Synopsis
The Magna via Francigena has always been an important artery of communication between the north and the south of Sicily, between Palermo and Agrigento and was used by the Romans as early as the second century BC. A spectacular itinerary of 187 km long which crosses mountains, prairies, forests and medieval villages. Michele Sanna decided to walk it at the end of may 2021, when the restrictions due to the Covid pandemic still discouraged people to travel abroad. “Inside My Borders 2” is a natural follow up to the first documentary “Inside My Borders (Abruzzo and Basilicata)”, a journey, by foot or bike, to discover the less known places in Italy.
