Surfers always look for the best waves. It’s a relentless pursuit that makes them travel the world in search of that perfect wave. But what if the wave was closer than ever imagined and in a river? A group of friends from Barreiro city, Portugal, discover a phenomenon: the boat that connects their city to Lisbon provides a perfect wave that rolls along 150 meters in the Tagus river. They call it: ‘Gasoline’. A wave is just a wave until someone has the vision to ride it. Perfect, beautiful and mysterious, this wave only shows itself to those who really look for, like and cherish it. They develop a special relationship with it. This is a story of friendship, dedication, sharing happiness and the strength to believe in this unlikely scenario: surfing Portugal’s most urban wave.
