Synopsis

Shaa Tlein – The Big Mountain. Alaska might not sound like the ideal surf destination initially, but for Basque adventurer, writer and wave-rider Damien Castera, this wild and rugged coastline offers a unique opportunity to escape from civilization and the crowded beaches of better known spots, whilst getting back in touch with nature and the true roots of surf exploration. Join Damien and a couple of his friends as they embark on a 2-month journey into the wild, in search of uncharted waves and an authentic life experience. Camping in the forest, fishing for food and fending off bears and other large predators are all part of this amazing experience somewhere between adventure travel and wilderness survival!
