Synopsis

I Làder de Erba tells the story of some shepherds from Bergamo who live in symbiosis with their flock of sheep every day of the year. They move continuously following the seasons between the expanses of the Brescia plain and the pristine peaks of the Bergamo area. Their eternal pilgrimage is a paradigm that has been repeated for millennia, from the myth of Cain and Abel up to today. The shepherd, while changing, has remained the same as then. His roots sink into the cultural traditions of his territory, while his antennas are projected towards the eternal challenge of the future.
