Frozen Ambrosia

(Also available in 95 mins) When people think of Greece, few realize that the country has mountains and winter, with skiing and snowboarding. Determined to change this perception, Greek-American filmmaker Constantine Papanicolaou sets out to make a movie that will showcase winter sports in Greece. Upon arriving, however, a difficult truth emerges. The ongoing economic crisis threatens to kill off the Greek ski centers. Fortunately, a solution has been found; ski touring and split-boarding. Frozen Ambrosia is the story of a community of Greek mountain enthusiasts and their efforts to rebuild the country’s winter tourism industry during the worst economic depression of modern times.
