Alpine Heritage – Crossing the Alps. Aurélien grew up in the Mont Blanc valley but now lives on the volcanic island of La Réunion. After climbing mountains in more than 60 countries, this time his backpack brings him back to France to carry out the Great Crossing of the Alps. From Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea, an improvised route of 643km and 40,000m of elevation gain on the paths of his childhood, 25 days of walking and bivouac which will become one of the most beautiful adventures of his life.
